Hi, my name is Joyce, from Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I have been practicing (and teaching) dental hygiene for 17 years.

  • 2006-2007 Medical anthropology and sociology
  • 2007-2011 Teacher at the applied university of dental hygiene in Amsterdam combined with being a dental hygienist in a general dental practice and a periodontology clinic
  • 2009-2017 Dental hygienist at the department or oral implantology at the academic centre for dentistry in Amsterdam
  • 2014-2016 Clinical trial assistant at the department of microbiology at the academic centre for dentistry in Amsterdam
  • 2017-current Dental hygienist in a cosmetic dental practice
  • 2017-current Dental hygiene instructor at the applied university of dental hygiene in Amsterdam
